A Winning Formula

The eStrategies Africa Conference 2008 was run in line with British Publishers' well-established format of events that have been held in Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa for several years.

We chose a beautiful private venue for the event with spectacular views across Cape Town the ideal backdrop for a dynamic exchange of ideas.

The success of the conference was based on bringing high-level people together in intimate surroundings for well-focused, intelligent debate at our roundtable forums.

The entire delegation, both speakers and audience, was a mix of public and private sectors. We gathered vendors, policy makers, regulators and civic authorities in the same forum and encouraged discussion of relevant issues.

Exclusive Benefits

Alongside the roundtable debates, British Publishers were able to facilitate one-to-one meetings throughout the course of the event, running a timetable and ensuring space was made available when needed.

Presentation rooms were made available, where additional sessions could take place following the main discussion sessions. British Publishers were on hand to organise these and include their timetabling in the initial programme.

Morning sessions were followed by lunch and networking opportunities. These were informal; however, also included time tabled "speed networking" sessions, which were more structured.

Finally, to round off the day, British Publishers hosted an exclusive Champagne Reception held for all delegates and audience members at the Bishopsgrace hotel in Cape Town. This was an informal, social gathering, with speeches, entertainment and food, offering all a further opportunity for important networking.
